Hey.

I'm Ariana ... collector of moments. Finder of the beauty within the chaos, the little gems amongst the rubble. Or so I try. Some days it is easier than others. But I try.
I am mommy ...
desperately clinging to the those tiny treasures that hide beneath the craziness that is called motherhood .... this imperfectly perfect mess I somehow survive by the grace of God and my children. Desperately wishing that time would slow just for once, desperately holding on to those little smiles and innocent giggles that disappear all too soon. I am mommy, glancing at my hands, wishing tiny hands would fill them once again.

I simply am.
I am the subtle click of the camera capturing that priceless moment. I am the camera tucked away as I watch my children grow, not through my lens, but with my heart (although, I often have my camera handy!)
I am a glass of sweet tea and bluegrass in the background. I am the third cup of coffee before dinner time preparations. I am the burnt orange color of late fall mountain leaves, the tranquil teal blue of the ocean, the hunter green of life as a military child. I am the silent tear that falls remembering the early days of motherhood that went by too quickly.

I am the exhausted baby sleeping on mommy's shoulder, being carried in from the car. The child's giggle with a gleam of mischief. I am a morning snuggle. I am oreos hidden in a frozen organic broccoli bag ... because no one looks there!
I am a hike in the woods, the mountains. I am the soothing stream, a waterfall. I am a thunderstorm, a cloudy day, a hoodie, jeans, and a pair of boots.
